My Go-To Kitchen Tools for Effortless Cooking

If you’re anything like me, you know that the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s where you create, nourish, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Over the years, I’ve found a handful of kitchen essentials that I can’t live without—tools that make my life easier, healthier, and a little more fun. These are my tried-and-true kitchen must-haves that I swear by!

Juicer: Sneaky Veggies for the Win
This one’s a no-brainer, especially if you want to sneak more veggies into your family’s diet. Not only is it a great way to get your daily dose of nutrients, but it’s also a secret weapon when it comes to getting my kids to “eat” more veggies. I’ve found that when you juice, they’re more likely to drink it up than actually eat the veggies whole (I’m talking to you, kale!). If you haven’t yet, check out my Post on Juices for ideas and inspiration!
I used This Juicer for 9 years I only just had to replace it!

Nutribullet: My Ride-or-Die Blender
Oh, my Nutribullet… where would I be without you? This little powerhouse is my kitchen bestie. I use it for EVERYTHING—from making sauces to smoothies, to milling my own flour and grinding spices. It’s the ultimate multitasker and, honestly, it’s a total game-changer. I rely on it so much that I’m pretty sure it’s been with me longer than some of my friendships!
I have been using mine for the last 10 years, while searching Amazon, I discovered they no longer sell the same set up I have. Mine came with an extractor blade and a milling blade. Trust me— You want Both.
Here is the NutriBullet/Extractor Blade — Milling Blade
hand mixer: The Underrated Hero
Now, I know a lot of women are die-hard fans of their stand mixers, and don’t get me wrong, I have one—but it hardly gets any use. My hand mixer, on the other hand, gets a workout almost every day. Whether I’m mixing dough, whipping cream, or just getting a quick batter together, it’s my go-to. It’s quick, compact, and does everything I need without taking up valuable counter space.
I have This One, with all the attachments there’s nothing holding you back!

Blender: When Bigger is Better
Okay, so sometimes my Nutribullet just can’t handle the big tasks, especially when I’m making larger batches. That’s when I pull out the blender. I need it for smoothies, soups, sauces, and anything else that requires a bit more power or volume. It’s the perfect sidekick when my Nutribullet’s off-duty.
Another item I’ve had so long I can’t find the exact one anymore, This One actually has 100w more than mine!
Air Fryer: Crispy, Quick, and Cleaner Cooking
I’ll admit, I wasn’t sold on the air fryer at first, but now it’s one of my must-haves. If you’re going to invest in one, make sure it’s stainless steel or glass—not the cheap plastic ones that have a weird aftertaste. I love using it to make everything from crispy chicken to roasted veggies without the oil. Healthier, faster, and still just as delicious!
I recommend one Like This, to avoid scary chemicals.

Immersion Blender: Magic Wand for Your Kitchen
If your family likes mayo, an immersion blender will be a total game-changer—nothing beats the rich, creamy goodness of homemade mayo, and it takes seconds to make. Plus, you control the ingredients, so no mystery oils or preservatives! But this little tool isn’t just for mayo. It’s a lifesaver for blending soups right in the pot because putting hot liquids in my Nutribullet isn’t an option. And transferring them to a blender can be a risky (and messy) move—especially if you’ve got little ones running around. I also use it for quick sauces, dressings, and even smoothing out lumpy batters. It’s compact, easy to clean, and one of those tools that makes cooking faster and way less of a hassle.
They come in both corded and cordless versions, but just a heads-up—the cordless ones will definitely cost you more! If you love the freedom to blend anywhere without being tied to an outlet, it might be worth the splurge, but the corded ones get the job done just as well for less.
So, there you have it: my top kitchen must-haves that make cooking, meal prepping, and everything in between a whole lot easier. These tools not only save me time, but they also help me stay on track with my healthy eating goals. What’s your kitchen game-changer? Let me know in the comments!
