NON-TOXIC DIY BATH PAINT
This non-toxic DIY bath paint turns bath time into creative play without the stress. It’s made with simple, clean ingredients and a gentle liquid soap so it spreads easily, stays put, and rinses clean from tubs, tile, and skin. Thick enough to paint without turning the tub into a slip-and-slide, but soft and smooth for little hands to dive right in.
Equipment
- Small saucepan
- Whisk
- Measuring cups/spoons
- Small containers / Bowls (for separating colors)
Ingredients
- ½ c Cornstarch
- 1½-2 c Water
- Food coloring
- 1 tbsp Liquid soap
Instructions
- Add the cornstarch and water to a saucepan and whisk until completely smooth.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- After a few minutes, the mixture will thicken into a creamy, paint-like texture.
- Remove from heat and whisk in liquid soap
- Divide into small containers and add food coloring to each.
Notes
If the paint thickens too much as it cools, add a small splash of warm water and whisk until smooth and fully combined.
